College of Science and Technology
Science and technology drive discovery, innovation, and solutions to real‑world challenges. At Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, students build strong foundations in scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, and applied skills to make a meaningful impact across fields and communities.
The College of Science and Technology prepares students for careers in disciplines such as biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, engineering physics, digital forensics, and the environmental, geographical, and geological sciences. Through hands‑on learning, research, and real‑world application, students develop the technical expertise and problem‑solving abilities needed to succeed in an evolving, technology‑driven world.
Students can pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees, minors, and certificates tailored to their goals, supported by faculty mentorship, experiential learning, and career preparation that connect classroom knowledge to professional pathways.

Learning Communities
Learning Communities bring students together in a supportive, close‑knit environment built around shared academic interests and goals. As part of an LC, you’ll connect with peers, faculty, and staff who are invested in your success, helping you navigate college while growing academically and socially.
The Science & Technology Learning Community brings first-year students together around shared interests in science and technology, creating a supportive environment to live and learn. Through common courses, study sessions, workshops, and social activities, students build connections with peers and faculty while gaining academic, personal, and professional support.
