Singers invited to join Mansfield Festival Chorus
The Mansfield Festival Chorus will meet on Tuesday evenings in Steadman Theatre beginning on Aug. 22 from 7 to 8:40 p.m. Participation in the rehearsals and performances is open to all persons on the university campus, high school students, and community singers. No Tuition Increase at Commonwealth University for Upcoming 2023-24 Academic Year
As Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania enters its second year, its students will not experience an increase in their tuition. The Board of Governors for Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) voted unanimously to freeze tuition for the upcoming 2023-24 academic year, keeping Commonwealth University one of the most affordable public higher education opportunities in the state.

Commonwealth University Faculty Promotions Announced
Twenty-eight Commonwealth University faculty members have been promoted for the 2023-24 academic year. The promotions came after an evaluation process that was conducted in compliance with the faculty collective bargaining agreement and the Commonwealth University promotion policy. The promotions, which include faculty from the Bloomsburg, Lock Haven and Mansfield locations, are based on the value of excellence in teaching as well as scholarship and service.
