CU-Lock Haven students team up with Downtown Lock Haven Inc. for community service

Commonwealth University-Lock Haven's women's lacrosse team recently helped out Downtown Lock Haven Inc. with community service by removing the scarecrows and mums on East Main Street in preparation for the upcoming Haven Holidays and Shop Small Saturday.

CU-Lock Haven students provide ongoing support to numerous activities downtown and throughout the city.

"It is important to recognize this priceless asset in our city," said Rick Schulze, Downtown Lock Haven manager. "The women were friendly, polite, orderly and enthusiastic throughout this endeavor."
