Commonwealth University Workforce Development announces fall 2023 training schedule

Commonwealth University (CU) Workforce Development has announced its fall 2023 training schedule with classes being held online or at an on-site location.

Attendees will be trained for the 21st-century job market and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to acquire professional-level positions for several in-demand occupations.

Career training topics include health related courses, legal studies, real estate, CDL, public safety and information technology. These training opportunities lead to industry recognized certifications requested by today's employers. CU Workforce Development classes are offered at different campuses via different instructional modalities including in-person, online and hybrid.

CNC Machinist Pre-Apprentice training partnership with KCSD

Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept.19 through Dec. 12 from 6-9:30 p.m.

Saturdays, Sept. 23 and 30; Oct. 7 and 21; Nov. 4, 11 and 18; and Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 12 through Dec. 14 from 6-9:30 p.m.

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT)

Phlebotomy Technician Certification Program with Clinical Externship
