Your 2026 - 2027 CGA Executive Board
President
Hello! I’m Chaz Kaszuba, your CGA President for the 2026–2027 academic year. I’m incredibly excited to get to work and serve the student body to the fullest extent. As a dual business major studying Business Administration and International Business with a concentration in Human Resource Management, I’m passionate about leadership and creating positive change. I am also a proud member of our Honors Program and will be serving as a Core Resident Assistant in Lycoming Hall. I firmly believe that every student deserves to have their voice heard. I am committed to listening, advocating, and projecting your concerns to higher levels of leadership. Your voice matters, and together, we can make our community even stronger. If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We bloom better together.
Vice-President
Hi, I am Sarah Dudick your CGA Vice President for the 2026-27 academic year. I previously had the privilege to serve as Executive Assistant for the 2025-26 academic year. In that role I learned leadership skills, the need to stay organized and how to work with a team effectively. I am excited to continue making big changes for students and am honored I have the opportunity to do so. My major is International Business with a concentration in Human Recourses and a minor in Economics. With my business background I can provide insight on specific topics that will help the student body. I also love to volunteer within my community in my hometown, and I plan on helping my amazing team make an impact on campus in Bloomsburg as well.
Secretary
Hi, I am Abigail White, and I am excited to serve as your CGA Secretary for the 2026-2027 academic year! I am a sophomore dual major in Psychology and Social Work. I am an RA up in JKA and I am also in the Honors College and will be participating within the Bent Leadership Program this year. I have always had a strong desire to be someone that truly helps and advocates for others, as well as contribute to something bigger than myself, and serving as a senator in CGA even furthered this desire. My goal is to be the best representative I can for the student body here at Bloomsburg and ensure that everyone feels as heard, seen, and comfortable being on this campus as possible. If you ever have a question, comment, or concern I would love for you to reach out so we can all work together in making the time students spend here at Bloomsburg some of the best times of their lives!
Treasurer
Hey! I'm Dat Le, I am a sophomore currently majoring in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Pre-Medical Studies at Commonwealth University- Bloomsburg. I am very excited and honored to have had the privilege of being a Senate Representative for CGA, and now being given the opportunity to transition into the CGA Treasurer position after being elected by you all. I truly believe that the opportunity to be on the Community Government Association Executive Board will help start my leadership role and community involvement, making me even more experienced with students and faculty. Throughout my short time here, I have joined around fifteen different diverse clubs and organizations from SOL, to Midlife, and here with CGA. Joining these has allowed me to enrich myself in with many different types of students, giving me the chance to get to hear everyone's personal experiences, any issues they may be facing, and topics students may be discussing about Bloomsburg. This helps me strengthen my goals on CGA of being a very inclusive, hearing people's needs, and giving everyone the voice they need in order to help further better the university when needed. With that being said, I look forward to working to help build a better environment for everyone. If there are questions or concerns, please feel free to talk to me in person or email me personally.
Executive Assistant
Hello! I’m Meliannie Castillo, your CGA Executive Assistant for the 2026–2027 academic year. I’m excited to continue working with the CGA team and supporting the student body in meaningful ways. As a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Spanish, I’m passionate about leadership and creating spaces where students feel included and supported. I am also a Core Resident Assistant, a member of the Honors College, and serve as Secretary for Students of Latinos (SOL), along with being involved in various leadership programs across campus. I joined CGA after learning about it through campus leadership and was immediately drawn to the opportunity to speak up, take initiative, and represent others. As someone who is outgoing and outspoken, I value making sure students feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns. I look forward to continuing to support our campus and being someone students can rely on.
Public Relations Officer
Hello! I am so excited to be given the opportunity to be your CGA Public Relations Officer. I joined CGA my freshman because I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself and help improve our home here at Commonwealth University- Bloomsburg. As a junior nursing major, a lot of my current life focuses on the care and comfort of others, and I want to bring that warmth into our community's government and its actions. I am very thankful to be a part of the honors college and be able to help and chair the Marketing Committee this year. With bi-weekly meeting recaps, funny Tik Toks, and staff introductions, I plan to connect our student government to its student body as much as possible and keep you in the know! Our campus is a beautiful place to call home, and I am committed to making it the best it can be for our students, faculty, and staff. I cannot wait to work with the wonderful team in CGA to help make Bloomsburg better!
Parliamentarian
Hello, I'm Ian-Colin Lonesome. I’m excited to have been chosen as your CGA Parliamentarian for the 2026-2027 academic year. I am a Cyber Security / Digital Forensics major and a current member of the Honors College. I joined CGA because when I arrived at Bloom, I initially struggled to find my place on campus. Everything felt so new and different. However, as I began to get more and more involved, I found that CGA was the perfect place to learn more about campus and take action to make it a better place. It wasn’t always easy, but as I got more involved, I realized the importance of students needing to have their voice heard. Therefore, going forward, my desire as the CGA Parliamentarian is to listen to students’ needs and help make Bloomsburg become the best campus it can be.
