Dr. Taylor B. Casey is from the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. She graduated from Texas

Christian University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (specializing in sport

psychology), the University of Missouri in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Counseling

(specializing in sport and exercise psychology), and a PhD in Educational Psychology

(specializing in psychosocial aspects of sport and exercise) from the University of North Texas in

2021.

Dr. Casey has taught undergraduate and graduate sport and exercise psychology and sociology

courses at universities in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area for the past 5 years and recently

joined Commonwealth University – Lock Haven. In addition to her academic responsibilities,

Dr. Casey is a non-clinical performance psychology consultant, working with a diverse

population of athletes and other non-sport performers to develop their performance edge through

integrating mental skills training for high performance with an individual’s core value and

strengths.

In her spare time, Dr. Casey enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and taking care of

all her farm animals.
