Dr. Tara Diehl is a former secondary mathematics teacher in local public schools and has been a member of the university community since 2006. After beginning her university career teaching foundational mathematics courses and supporting underprepared students, Dr. Diehl transitioned into teacher education in 2022. She now prepares undergraduate preservice teachers, primarily in mathematics, and finds deep purpose and joy in mentoring future educators as they develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed for the classroom.
