Sharon Blake is a highly experienced certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Supervisor, and Adjunct Faculty Member. With over 28 years of clinical experience, she has dedicated much of her career to working with the preschool and school-age populations. Her expertise includes the provision of comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care in both private practice and public education settings, focusing on a diverse pediatric patient population. Mrs. Blake specializes in the evaluation and treatment of various communication disorders that affect speech production, fluency, language, and cognition. Additionally, she is proficient in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
In her role as clinical supervisor, Mrs. Blake serves as a liaison between Commonwealth Bloomsburg University and Central Columbia School District, where she fosters graduate students in the functional acquisition of practical skills and application of academic coursework, while also upholding ethical standards and patient welfare.
Mrs. Blake has also taught several graduate speech pathology courses and actively collaborates with various professionals within the school community to promote awareness of speech-language disabilities and highlight available services.
