Jacquelyn Borst, DMSc, MSPAS, MIH, PA-C, is a PA educator and clinician with nearly two decades of experience in clinical practice and healthcare education. She graduated from the PA Program at DeSales University in 2006 and has practiced in a variety of clinical settings since then including hospital medicine, adult gastroenterology, urgent care, and healthcare administration. Within the program, she teaches in multiple courses but particularly enjoys the Gastroenterology and the Underserved Populations courses.
Dr. Borst has a strong interest in global health and medical service, having participated in more than 50 short-term international medical service trips over the past 20 years. She completed a Doctorate in Medical Education in 2020 and a Master of International Health in 2024, further strengthening her commitment to improving healthcare education and access to care worldwide. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she continues to practice clinically as a hospitalist PA to maintain her clinical skills and remain actively engaged in patient care.
