Amanda Kelly Vasquez '00

Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been practicing in the field for approximately 25 year. Current work includes conducting psychiatric assessment for short- and long-term disability. Amanda has previously worked in inpatient and outpatient care settings, including community mental health, hospice, and speciality care clinics. Amanda has also worked in the University setting in an outpatient diabetes center, where work included direct patient care, research, education, grant writing, and advocacy on local, state, and national levels.

Amanda obtained a BA in psychology from Bloomsburg University and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Florida. Amanda also has a strong interest in sustainability, and also obtained an MA is Global Sustainability with a concentration in food sustainability and security. Additional interests include access to food/nutrition and nutrition and mental health.

Personally, Amanda lives in sunny Florida and enjoys spending time at the beach, cycling, traveling, and walking her dog.
