Student Veterans Association​

Any CU–Bloomsburg student in good academic standing (not on academic probation), from freshman through senior year, is welcome to join BUSVA. The club is open to both veterans and non-veterans.​

Membership & Purpose​

Military affiliation is not required — any student who is supportive, dedicated, and eager to work as part of a close-knit team is welcome.​

Our Mission​

We empower military students to thrive in higher education by advocacy, leadership opportunities, giving back to the community, and resources that honor those who have served.

Open to all students, freshman through senior year.​

What We Offer​

• Social activities, awareness events, and fundraisers for trips​
• Academic support and student resources​
• Guidance on financial aid, counseling services, and transitioning to university life​

At its core, BUSVA is about connection, support, and opportunity — for military and non-military students alike, while interacting with the community​.

BUSVA partners with a variety of organizations to support meaningful causes through fundraising efforts, including the PA Wounded Warriors Foundation, Pets for Vets, the Gary and Nancy Gallagher Foundation, and more. The club actively raises awareness for important issues such as mental health, reflecting its commitment to community impact.

In addition, BUSVA collaborates with campus groups to host inclusive events that promote unity and engagement across the university community.​
