Mansfield's Dr. Margaret Launius Gender Equity Center builds and creates a community of authentic and engaged allies and leaders to pursue gender equity and social justice, enhancing the campus climate through education, advocacy, support and leadership development. We provide resources, advocacy, and referral to ALL students, to promote healthy and safe relationships.

The center serves as a resource and catalyst using evidence-based practices for transformative learning on both the individual and institutional level around issues of gender, equity, and interpersonal violence.

The Center Lounge

The Gender Equity Center offers a cozy lounge with couches, tables and chairs, a television, mini fridge, coffee maker, and more. The lounge is open to all students at CU-Mansfield who may benefit from the services of or interaction with the center.

The Center Library

Students are welcome to check out a variety of resources within the Gender Equity Center literary collection. This includes books and videos on topics such as women's history, feminist studies, women's empowerment, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and much more. Connect with the center's Director or student worker for more information.
