The Counseling Center provides confidential mental health counseling to all enrolled students at no additional cost.
Our services are designed to promote psychological well-being, support academic success, and assist students in managing personal challenges. Students may contact the center by phone or email to obtain further information or to schedule an appointment.
Scope of Services: Each year, a significant number of students utilize counseling services to address a variety of concerns. Common presenting issues include:
- Anxiety and stress management
- Depression and mood-related concerns
- Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
- Adjustment to college life and transitional challenges
- Family concerns
- Substance use issues
- Eating and body image concerns
- Responses to trauma and other critical life events
Treatment Model: Counseling services are provided within a short-term treatment framework, with sessions typically scheduled on a bi-weekly basis. For students requiring longer-term therapy or weekly sessions, the Counseling Center will facilitate appropriate referrals to community providers to ensure continuity of care.
