Lock Haven to Host Women’s History Month Event, ‘Let Her Voice Be Heard’

Commonwealth University-Lock Haven will host the event, “Let Her Voice Be Heard,” on Thursday March 30, in honor of Women’s History Month. The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Willis Health Professions Greenberg Auditorium, room 105.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will include live readings, an announcement of the President’s Award for Distinguished Work in the Advancement of Women’s Issues nominees, and the winners of the Virginia Martin Gender Issues Essay Contest.

Refreshments will be served. The event is sponsored by the English Club, the President’s Commission on the Status of Women, and the Women and Gender Studies program.
