Picture this: you’re in the middle of a yoga pose, and suddenly, a baby goat hops onto your back. Laughter filled the grassy area of the Commons as Commonwealth University-Lock Haven students and faculty experience Goat Yoga, a favorite tradition at The Haven hosted by the Haven Activities Council.

Led by Ashley Sloane of Buttinhead Farms from Hunlock Creek, participants enjoyed a guided yoga session infused with the unpredictable fun of curious goats roaming around. The mix of stretching, movement and surprise visits from four-legged guests created the perfect stress-relief environment for the campus community.

“The only expectation is that you leave happier than you came and that we take you away from everyday stresses during the time you’re with us,” said representatives from Buttinhead Farms on their website.

Following the yoga session, everyone had the chance to feed and cuddle with the goats, adding an extra dose of happiness to the already uplifting evening.
