Members of the Commonwealth University–Bloomsburg Chamber Choir took the stage alongside acclaimed Broadway performers Ciarán Sheehan, Kaley Ann Voorhees, and Gabriel Donohue in a special concert with the Warminster Symphony Orchestra at William Tennent High School in Warminster on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Sheehan, celebrated for his portrayal of the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, joined the guest artists and orchestra for an unforgettable evening of music. Under the direction of Dr. Amelia Garbisch, Director of Choral Activities at Commonwealth University–Bloomsburg, the student singers had the unique opportunity to collaborate with professional musicians and experience the artistry and excitement of a major orchestral production.
The performance showcased the talent, versatility, and professionalism of Bloomsburg's student musicians while providing invaluable real-world performance experience.
"This was an extraordinary opportunity for our students to perform alongside world-class artists," said Garbisch. "I could not be prouder of their professionalism, dedication, and the beautiful sound they created. Experiences like this are what make collegiate music education so meaningful."
The collaboration reflects Commonwealth University–Bloomsburg's commitment to providing students with exceptional performance opportunities and meaningful connections to the professional music community.
