Commonwealth University-Lock Haven to host October major showcase days

The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Admissions Office will host several major showcase days this month, which will include a behind-the-scenes look at program-specific faculty and current students at Lock Haven. All events will begin in the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center, first floor, 10 Susquehanna Ave.

Events include:
•    History and Political Science – Friday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
•    Biology and Biomedical Science – Friday, Oct.16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
•    Criminal Justice, Social Work and Sociology – Monday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
•    Sport Management – Friday, Oct. 23, from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.
•    Health Science and Exercise Science – Monday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
•    Health and Physical Education – Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 9:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

During the events, attendees will explore departmental classrooms and facilities; learn more about coursework, projects and career development; connect with current students and faculty for lunch on campus; and explore campus on an optional tour.

Space is limited and registration is required by the day before the event. More major-specific events will be held later in April and throughout the rest of the spring semester. For more information on the above listed events or to register:
