Scholarships
Scholarships at Commonwealth University Add Value to Your Education
At CU, our tuition is among the most affordable in the region and scholarships make the value even greater. Whether you're a first-year student, transfer, or adult learner, our scholarships are designed to recognize your potential and help you go further. By stacking scholarships on top of already low tuition, Commonwealth makes it easier to invest in your future without sacrificing financial peace of mind.
How Do Scholarships Benefit you?
- Lower Tuition Costs
Scholarships can directly cover part or all of a student’s tuition, reducing or eliminating the need to pay out-of-pocket or take out student loans. - Minimize Student Debt
By reducing reliance on loans, scholarships help students graduate with less (or no) debt, improving long-term financial health. - Cover Additional Expenses
Many scholarships can also be used for fees, textbooks, supplies, transportation, and even housing, easing the total cost of attendance. - Provide Financial Stability
With fewer financial worries, students can focus more on academics instead of working long hours, leading to better academic performance and mental well-being. - Open Doors to Enrichment Opportunities
Scholarships can make it possible for students to participate in valuable experiences such as internships, study abroad programs, and research projects that might otherwise be financially out of reach.
