Mountie Sound Machine Alumni Reunion 2026: Valentines Day Brassacre Basketball Doubleheader vs. Shepherd

Mountie Sound Machine alums are invited to join us for a day of nostalgic music making and gameday excitement. Come back to Mansfield to join in on all of the old favorites – Back in Black, Land of 1000 Dances, Wooly Bully, Frankenstein and many more.
Mountie Sound Machine are encouraged to participate. Marching band alumni are also welcome to participate. The expectation is that all participates will be present for the morning rehearsal and both Women's and Men's Basketball games.
The morning rehearsal in Steadman Theatre will be followed by lunch and a 1pm Women’s Basketball game and 3pm Men’s Basketball game, both teams completing against Shepherd University. T-shirts, lunch, and some refreshments between games will be provided. There is no cost to participate in this event. Music will be available for participants to print (or download to smart devices) online.
Schedule of Events (subject to change)
- 9:00am – Welcome in Steadman Theatre (coffee & donuts supplied by the music department)
- 9:30am – Rehearse in Steadman
- 11:30am – Lunch in Steadman (pizza & drinks provided by Alumni Association)
- 12:30pm – Pre-Game Set in Decker
- 1:00pm – Women's Game – play throughout
- 2:30pm – Refreshments between games (provided by Athletics)
- 2:45pm – Pre-Game Set in Decker
- 3:00pm – Men's Game – play throughout
