Somewhere in Poland, a man of questionable taste and intellect seizes power and struggles to hold on to it, come hell or high water, come vengeful royals or overburdened dungeon masters or hibernating bears or whatever. A wildly raucous and comic adaptation of Alfred Jarry's anti-classic Ubu Roi that incited riots in the theatre when it premiered.
