Associate Professor of Communication Studies
This minor will help students build those key skills through foundational coursework while allowing them to choose an area of focus through their selection of upper-level minor electives. The Communication Studies minor is designed to complement any major.
Courses and Curriculum
Upon successful completion of this program, Communication Studies minors will be able to:
- Present effective and appropriate messages in multiple communication modalities and contexts.
- Integrate theory, research, and practice in a variety of communication contexts.
- Exhibit social responsibility and professionalism in their communicative interactions with others.
- Implement leadership knowledge and skills in a variety of contexts.
- Display the communication skills necessary to engage in competent human relational interaction in multiple contexts.
