Climate scientist, educator, and activist, Dr. Zach Brown explores the barriers to climate action and how we can overcome them. His action-oriented talk focuses on the real tools the climate movement is using to drive a rapid and just transition to a clean economy - and how everyone can join.
Dr. Brown is a climate scientist, educator, and activist. He serves as director of Tidelines Institute in Alaska. The organization works in collaboration with colleges and high schools to provide programs with "hands-on work and sustainable harvest, community events, hiking and paddling, and honoring (native) culture and values" including immersion in Alaskan lands of native people.
Admission is free and open to the public.
