With the forecast calling for inclement weather across all university locations tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17), all non-essential staff may use liberal leave (any available leave) if they determine that commuting conditions are unsafe.
Employees who have an approved telework agreement may plan to work from their approved alternative worksite. If you have questions about your telework status, please contact your supervisor.
Employees who choose not to work (either on campus or through approved telework) will be expected to use liberal leave for the time missed.
All campus libraries and health centers will be closed on Tuesday, March 17. Rec Centers will open at 10 a.m. Campus main dining halls will be open with a limited menu. Check campus dining social media sites for hours and updates.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather or other emergency conditions, the operational status of Commonwealth University, including potential compressed schedules or campus closures, will be determined using our established policy. Emergency Alert Notifications
Commonwealth University has a system for communicating emergency information to the campus community. The AT&T Rave system is designed to send text, voice and email messages to compatible devices in the event of an emergency situation.
