Tickets & Seating
- Commonwealth University will be utilizing an electronic ticketing system for our commencement ceremonies. You must register for your tickets on or before 4/29/24. After this date, the waitlist will be filled and tickets will not be guaranteed. There will not be any tickets handed out or be able to be claimed the day of the ceremony.
- Tickets are required to enter the Haas Center for the Arts and Redman Stadium
- Each graduate will receive six (6) tickets
- Additional tickets may be available based on a waitlist
- There is no guarantee of receiving additional tickets
- Tickets are non-transferrable
- Children 2 years of age and under will not require a ticket, but need to sit on a lap
- No car seats, strollers, etc
- Wearable baby packs are allowed, but will be subject to inspection
- All seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis
Ticket Distribution
- Ticket pick up times and location TBD.
- Information will be emailed to eligible graduates.
Parking is available near the Andruss Library for graduate ceremonies and on upper campus for undergraduate ceremonies.
- Handicap spaces are available for guests and supports with a handicap placard or license plate.
- Please follow posted signs and directions of the University Police.
In and effort to decrease wait time and get guests parked more efficiently, University Police have imposed new traffic patterns during undergraduate commencement ceremonies.
- Both lanes of Pettit Way will be one-way for incoming traffic
- Exiting traffic from JKA lots, Tennis/Softball Lots and Blue Lot will exit using Husky Hill on to Arbutus Park Road
- Exiting traffic from all other lots will be directed toward the Lightstreet Road intersection
Note: Gates will open 1 hour before each ceremony, please plan accordingly, as traffic will be heavier these days.
- Haas is equipped with ADA seating for individuals in wheelchairs, motorized carts, etc. These seats are first-come, first-served and are located on the first level of the auditorium.
- If the graduate or a supporter needs ASL interpretation please email sbissinger@commonwealth.edu to reserve seats near the interpreter.
Island Photography will be onsite taking photos of each graduate. All graduates will receive copies of the proofs for them to view and order as desired. Pictures are taken at no cost to the student and ordering is optional. Any questions regarding photos after the event ends should be directed to Island Photography.
