CNC Training

Computers control much of the world today. The manufacturing industry is no exception, and you can make yourself an indispensable part of the future of manufacturing by training in Computer Numerical Control (CNC).

Program Information

This course provides an intensive overview of workholding, math, inspection, safety, metal cutting, materials, quality, and grinding. These skills are essential for working as a CNC machinist.

Participants completing any three of the following manufacturing classes will qualify for a CNC Machinist Pre-Apprentice Certificate from Keystone Central Career & Technical Center.
 

CNC Mill G and M Code Programming

Basic and intermediate skills including:

  • Absolute and Incremental Programming
  • Linear Interpolation
  • Drilling with Canned Cycles
  • Circular Interpolation
  • Cutter Compensation
  • CNC control Panel Operation
  • Geometry Offsets
  • Work Offsets
  • Tool Length Offsets
     
CNC Lathe G and M Code Programming

Basic and intermediate skills including:

MasterCam Lathe
Basic and intermediate programming skills including:
  • Setting the Environment
