Program Offerings

Training and Education Partnerships

Commonwealth University's Training and Education Partnerships offers a variety of certificate programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional-level positions and industry-recognized certifications for many in-demand occupations.

Our programs are designed by a team of professionals from each respective field, providing you with effective face-to-face and web-based learning programs. Instructors/course mentors are actively involved in your learning experience, responding to any questions or concerns, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.

Financial Aid is available through the SallieMae Smart Option Student Loan program.  Visit the SallieMae website and search for Commonwealth University of PA Workforce Development. Our school ID is 003315-97.

We do not offer payment plans directly through Commonwealth University.  However, some of our vendors offer payment plans that you might be able to utilize.  

Please contact your local PA CareerLink to inquire about WIOA, TAA or OVR funding availability for workforce development training programs.

Tuition and fees are refundable up to five days prior to the class start date.  Tuition and fees are non-refundable after the class start date.

Commonwealth University is an approved provider for Act 48 hours.  We are currently offering online courses through our training and education partnerships. Pre-approved Act 48 courses can be found under the Ed2Go category of Teacher Professional Development. In order to receive Act 48 hours for any a non-credit course or to check if your course qualifies for Act 48, please contact tallen@commonwealthu.edu before registering.
